The 2023 Fourcas Dupré is rich, sumptuous and super-expressive, Inky, dark red fruit, white flowers, mint, chocolate and sweet spice are all dialed up in this decidedly flamboyant Listrac.

The 2023 Fourcas Dupré has a generous, finely delineated bouquet: a mixture of blueberry and blackberry fruit, pressed iris flower and camphor. The palate is medium-bodied and very cohesive on the entry, although the new oak just impedes across the mid-palate. It's quite chewy and sinewy with a dab of vanilla pod on the finish- just a tad drier than I would prefer. I might be tempted to give this a few years in the cellar.
