Neal Martin Vinous 92-94/100The 2023 Rabaud-Promis is pure Sémillon this year. Slightly cloudy in hue, the nose is quite backward and primal and difficult to read at the moment. The palate is fresh and tangy on the entry with Seville orange, marmalade and quince. The acidity cuts straight through the ample botrytized fruit, and it feels persistent on the finish. This will require a few years in bottle, but there is good potential here.
