James Suckling 91-92/100Brightness and tautness give this wine tension. Fine, integrated tannins and a juicy finish. Medium-bodied. 65% merlot with cabernet franc and malbec.
Neal Martin Vinous 88-90/100
The 2023 Siaurac was picked from September 8 to 28 at 42hL/ha. It has a straightforward bouquet with red plum and raspberry fruit, quite airy and floral in style. The palate offers a dab of sour cherry on the entry—a lightweight, nimble Lalande-de-Pomerol with just a slight attenuation on the finish.
Antonio Galloni Vinous 90-92/100
The 2023 Siaurac is immediately alluring. A wine of precision and class, the 2023 impresses with its striking purity and nuance. Bright red-toned fruit, blood orange peel, spice, mint and lavender are all beautifully delineated. The Cabernet Franc is so expressive here. This is not a big wine, and it feels a bit closed on the palate, but its finesse is nonetheless captivating. Harvest started on September 8, among the earliest ever here, and finished on September 23. Tasted two times.
