The 2023 La Louvière Blanc has a reticent nose at first, but it just takes a few swirls to reveal real complexity and mineralité. This is a nuanced La Louvière Blanc—less outgoing than say, the Olivier Blanc. The palate is fresh and vibrant with an electric line of acidity that cuts through the concentrated white fruit. Beautifully composed on the finish, this is possibly the best white I have tasted from the estate at this early stage.

The 2023 La Louvière Blanc is a tasty, easygoing Sauvignon Blanc to drink now and over the next few years. Lemon peel, apricot, mint, sage, dried flowers and white pepper open first, with pretty tropical overtones appearing later. This is nicely done. Tasted two times.
