James Suckling 93-94

A firm and linear wine with lovely length and focus, with crushed stone and blackberry character. Racy finish. Precise.

Glengarry Review

90% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc. Aromatically this is captivating. A high level of precision on the palate, bright red fruits together with a freshness and vibrancy. This is charming, there's a delicacy and refined nature to this that is very skillfully achieved in this year. Maturation is in a combination of glass and wooden barrels. This year, 100% of the wine made went into the Grand Vin with no second wine produced, indicative of the quality of this year.

Decanter 94

Jane Anson - Vibrant violet colour, intense with sappy acidity and firm tannins, bright fruits, some slightly bitter finish, but this has sleek depths, with estate and vintage signature, and is one to look out for. 100% 1st wine.

Vinous 91-94

Antonio Galloni - The 2022 Corbin is endowed with tremendous power and richness. Huge tannins and strong Franc notes dominates. It will be interesting to see how this develops, as there is a gorgeous core of fruit that emerges gradually with a bit of aeration.

Parker 92-94

William Kelley - The 2022 Corbin has turned out beautifully, bursting with aromas of cherries and raspberries mingled with hints of violets, vine smoke and bay leaf. Medium to full-bodied, supple and velvety, it's bright, perfumed and polished, but with a touch more mid-palate density and texture than is habitual for this elegant-styled wine. It's a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, and such was the quality of all the lots that no second wine was produced this year.
