DecanterJane Anson- 89 - This has a lovely sweet damson fruit texture, opens up to show some attractive redcurrant and rosemary, with a bitter finish and struggles to overcome drying tannins on the finish. The 1st wine at Talbot is exceptional in this vintage, I would suggest looking there.

A second wine with finesse and character, offering flowers and berries. Medium body. Fine tannins. Crushed berries.

Aromas of rich berries, loamy soil, cherries and licorice introduce the 2022 Connetable de Talbot, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and impressively concentrated wine that represents some 38% of the estate's production this year.
